Exciting news for food lovers in Burlington—Bardō is returning in Spring 2025. Formerly known as Bread Bar, the reimagined Bardō (pronounced Bar-dough) is coming back bigger and better. Located at 421 Brant Street, on the corner of Brant and James, Bardō will bring its signature charm just steps away from its original home, now within The Pearle Hotel.
The new Bardō promises to be a vibrant addition to downtown Burlington, featuring a spacious indoor dining area for over 100 guests and a cozy outdoor patio, perfect for soaking up summer evenings. Pearle Hospitality has partnered with the renowned II X III Design Agency to create an inviting, modern atmosphere, ensuring the space feels as special as the food served within it.
Bardō is celebrated for its farm-to-table approach, offering seasonal dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Fans of the restaurant can look forward to enjoying signature favorites like the Umami Burger, Quinoa and Squash Salad, and Bee Sting Pizza, alongside an expanded menu full of delicious new options.
Adding a fresh twist, the new location will feature a Bardō to Go counter. This grab-and-go section will offer freshly baked bread, pastries, artisanal soups, sandwiches, and carefully curated hot and cold drinks—perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely lakeside picnic. Whether dining in or taking out, Bardō remains committed to delivering quality and flavor for every occasion.
