The Abbey Resort, Lake Geneva’s only full-service resort, has announced the opening of its newly renovated 35,000-square-foot Avani Spa. The spa modernization cost $2 million.
The award-winning spa now includes 16 luxury treatment rooms, two new couples’ suites, two salt, and infrared relaxation areas, updated spa and salon services menu, and a revamped fitness center.
“Our spa services continue to be curated so our guests can achieve ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation,” says Spa Director Ashley Van Asten. “Avani Spa provides a true spa experience from the moment you enter the door. We have created an environment centered around our name ‘Avani’ which means ‘of the earth’ to connect with the natural elements, putting us in sync with nature’s own equilibrium to achieve lasting wellbeing.”
New Spa Highlights include:
- New salt and infrared relaxation areas – one dedicated solely to women, along with a women’s only whirlpool, sauna, and steam room. The other coed area is located in the Atrium Pool area. Himalayan salt rooms are proven to help cleanse the respiratory tract, improve lung function and skin health, strengthen the immune system, and aid with anxiety and depression.
- New, expanded spa services include innovative massages, aromatherapy and body treatments, and facials featuring holistic Swedish skincare line, Kerstin Florian. Each facial and body treatment has been developed to achieve synergy and harmony between product and protocol.
- A brighter fitness center filled with new cardio and strength equipment, a renovated yoga studio, and a TRX training area with kettlebells, a battle rope, and balance trainers.
- Revitalized menu of salon services including manicures and pedicures featuring SPARITUAL vegan nail products, haircuts and styling, and makeup applications using Glo Mineral Makeup.
- Overall, a new emphasis on holistic well-being in mind, body, and spirit, offering experiences inspired by the unique elements of our area, combining the highest quality products with classic traditions to uplift your spirit and restore your energy.
As always, Avani Spa guests have access to the tranquil surroundings of the private Avani Atrium Pool and outdoor, adult-only lounge areas (weather permitting).
