Ohio’s Gervasi Vineyard Resort & Spa has announced the opening of The Cave, an intimate wine-tasting experience, barrel room, and The Spa provides a world-class luxury spa experience.
Gervasi Vineyard first announced their multi-use expansion project in the Spring of 2022. The expansion included the addition of a 20,000 square feet project in two structures located on the southwest corner of the 55-acre estate.
The Cave is all about wine and includes a world-class wine-tasting experience in a unique and intimate environment. Built underground, The Cave features impressive stonework, custom art, and furniture. The Cave is open for both Public Hours and Ticketed Tasting Tours. Ticketed Tasting Tours are offered during the weekdays and weekends. They include four wine tastes led by a Gervasi Wine Ambassador and a light antipasti cup. Afterward, guests will tour the underground Wine Barrel Cave. A semi-private Cave Tasting Experience is available for 10-18 guests. Guests will experience four wine tastes led by a Gervasi Wine Ambassador and enjoy a beautiful antipasti board display and a Wine Barrel Cave tour.
“Since we opened our doors in 2010, we have been evolving and creating new ways to incorporate our award-winning wine for guests to enjoy,” said Scott Swaldo, CEO & General Manager of Gervasi Vineyard Resort & Spa. “We are not your typical winery; we did not have a designated “tasting room.” The Cave now allows us to showcase our award-winning wine and educate our guests on the “Winemaking by Design” theory we stand for.”
The Spa at Gervasi Vineyard features state-of-the-art design and equipment to provide Gervasi guests and local spa seekers with a beautiful and tranquil experience along with exceptional spa services. “Our mission is to put our guests first, continue to listen to the demand and align our business accordingly. We listened when we heard the demand for a Spa on the property. We are confident The Spa will deliver a tranquil experience like no other for our guests,” said Swaldo. Services include a variety of massages, facials, HydraFacial, body treatments, nailcare,
hairstyles, and makeup.
Massages, facials, and body treatments will include the Tranquility Welcome thirty minutes before service. This includes a tour of The Spa, changing room access, robe, slippers, and access to the aromatherapy-infused Tranquility Lounge. Guests will receive a complimentary beverage, including a Gervasi Vineyard wine, light refreshments, and a warmed neck wrap.
The Spa offers a Couples Suite Experience., a luxurious private suite for two that includes the Tranquility Welcome, soaking in the suite’s air bath, enjoying the steam, and cascading Chromotherapy rain shower, beverages – including Gervasi wine, and the couple’s choice of service(s).
The Spa is a haven of tranquility and rejuvenation. Guests will take in vineyard views while enjoying The Spa’s luxurious atmosphere. The Spa is available for overnight guests as well as the public. “We have some of the best staff in the spa and wellness industry,” said Brooke Zarconi, Spa Operations Manager. “They have been training for weeks with cutting-edge technology and products. We are excited and eager to perform amazing services and provide an incredibly tranquil experience to our Gervasi guests.”
